Careem: Rides, Food & more experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 20K in early April and dropping to approximately 16K by the end of June. Meanwhile, weekly active users showed fluctuations, reaching a high of about 691K in early April and ending the quarter at roughly 624K.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery showed an upward trend in weekly downloads, peaking at over 10K in late April before stabilizing around 8K towards the end of June. Active users increased steadily, climbing from 38K in March to over 53K by the end of the quarter.
Bolt: Request a Ride saw a rise in weekly downloads, particularly noticeable in May where numbers reached approximately 6K. Active users, however, remained relatively stable, hovering around 23K throughout the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers generally between 3.8K and 5K. Weekly active users displayed a slight decrease, moving from about 85K at the start to 74K by the end of June.
Zed: Book your taxi ride had weekly downloads ranging from 2.8K to 3.4K, with a small decline towards the quarter’s end. Active users initially decreased but showed recovery in June, ending at approximately 16K.
